Colleague, Julie Rice, invited me out to shoot the Kirkwood Jr. Baseball team comprised of North and Nipher grads who will be freshmen next year. It's a good-looking ball club. They pitched well, hit often, and made strong defensive plays. They are well-coached and show great discipline and character. Things are looking good for the future of Kirkwood High School Baseball. Keep up the good work, boys!!
